Since turning in the homestudy documents, I've been enjoying having only a FEW papers to complete and mail each day, instead of the usual day-long process of seemingly endless paper pushing.
I collected the promised letter from my cardiologist on Monday. He assured "whom it may concern" that the problem is insignificant and won't affect my expected natural life span. Nice to have that potential roadblock put to rest!
We're in Lafayette on "vacation" (aka remodeling a bathroom) and received a call today. The social worker has our papers now and wants to come do our first home visit. This is progress. Bring it on!
